Climate Change And Resiliency Of Filipino's

The Philippines is an archipelago nation that is extremely prone to the effects of climate change. because of its location, which includes a long coastline and many islands it is vulnerable to a growing number and severity of extreme weather conditions. a combination of natural and man-made things are the main causes of these environmental changes, which are having a significant effect on filipino's lives.

The increasing greenhouse gas emissions from human activity are one of the main causes of climate change in the philippines. Large amounts of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases are released into the atmosphere when fossil fuels are burned for transportation, industry, and energy production. The earth gradually warms as a result of these gases ability to trap heat, affecting the global climate system. Rising sea levels, strong typhoons, severe droughts, and unpredictable rainfall patterns are some of the ways that the Philippines is experiencing  increasing of temperatures , and these conditions have serious consequences for the country most endangered areas.

Lastly, changes in land use and deforestation increase the effects of climate change. because of logging, urbanization, and agricultural growth, the philippines has experienced significant deforestation in the past few years. Forests act as natural carbon sinks, and their loss reduces the planet's ability to absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. This contributes to global warming and increases the negative effects of climate change on the Philippines. Additionally, the conversion of natural ecosystems into agricultural land and urban areas changes the environment, soil erosion, flooding, and water shortages. These environmental changes have a major impact on our lives, particularly whose job is on  agriculture and fisheries that rely mainly on natural resources.
