Break the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines

The topic "Break the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines," the 2024 National Children's Month event is an important reminder of how  we must confront the widespread problem of violence against children in our country.
this topic highlights how everyone has a responsibility to protect the well-being of the youth. It is a call for us to act to put an end of violence and create a community where all kids can thrive in an environment that is both  encouraging and safe.

In the Philippines, the prevalence of violence against children is an urgent issue. It can take many different forms, such as mistreatment, emotional, sexual, and physical. These violent crimes affect children's physical, emotional, and psychological development and leave them with lifelong scars. Many different consequences may result, impacting their general well-being, social connections, and  education. We must acknowledge the seriousness of this problem and collaborate to build a society that protects children from harm.

This year's festival focuses on the need for several sectors to work together to address this problem. to provide a safe and protective environment for children, communities, families, groups, and people must all do their part. this involves strengthening laws and regulations, offering assistance to all victims, increasing public awareness of child safety, and encouraging positive attitudes parenting styles. by working together, we can end the pervasiveness of violence against children and create a philippines where all children can live without fear or harm.
